AT&T announced a $85B merger with Time Warner on October 22nd. The merger will bring Warner Brothers, CNN and HBO under AT&T’s control. The Marimekko chart below shows what the combined company’s revenue might look like:
I included the 2015 revenue from each segment and the percentage of the combined company’s 2015 revenue in the Marimekko. You can see both the key pieces of AT&T’s and Time Warner’s business and the relative contribution of each to the combined company. I used the chart legend to provide a more detailed explanation of what makes up each segment. I did this by putting the legend text in the data sheet and then replacing the legend text with the short descriptions in each segment.
