- typed the data on unpaid care work and paid work into the Mekko Graphics Data Editor
- used formulas to computer total work by gender and % of time spent on unpaid care work
- used Bars and Series dialog to set data column
- removed y axis line, tick marks and labels and x axis line
- added y axis title
- showed segment labels with values and calculated percentage
- formatted data column to show percentage
- changed series colors
- adjusted internal chart margins and bar gaps
- added linking lines between segments
